Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of COBOL/AS400/Smart 400/ DB2.
• Experience in Insurance policy administration system Life Asia.
• Should have production support and development experience in LIFE Asia / LIFE 400.
• Excellent coding and documentation (SRS, Low Level design documents, Unit test cases etc) skills.
• Should have exposure to Insurance domain.
• Development & Support experience of BOs (Business Objects) and MQ will be added advantage.
• Experience in resolving all types of production issues.
• Experience in coordinating with different venders for deliverables.
• Experience in driving and managing the team.
• Understanding of IT- SDLC process.
• Sound knowledge on EOD/EOM/EOY activities and processes.

Role objective:- At Aviva India, A Software Developer working with Life Asia, COBOL, AS/400, and DB2 is a backend developer .

This role does not build screens or buttons that users click. It builds and maintains the hidden systems that process data and run business rules.
