NTT DATA is hiring a Software Development Specialist in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (India).

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for business‑critical applications in production environments.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate with L3 teams, developers, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Support application deployments, releases, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor and support applications running on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Execute and troubleshoot shell scripts, cron jobs, and batch processes.
• Perform log analysis using tools like grep, awk, sed, etc.
• Manage system performance, process monitoring, and file system issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, file permissions, and system services.
• Operate within ITIL framework including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Ensure timely updates in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Participate in change management activities including CAB reviews.
• Maintain proper documentation for incidents, resolutions, and SOPs.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders on incident status, risks, and resolutions.
• Handle escalation communication professionally and effectively.
• Participate in client calls, status meetings, and service reviews.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through clear communication and proactive support.
