BuildBros Innovations invites applications for a Software Development Intern for 3–6 months, with options for remote or onsite in Bengaluru and a stipend of ₹8,000–₹15,000 per month.

You will work on production-grade frontend and backend systems using React, Spring Boot, and Node.js, shipping real features for our SaaS products, collaborating with senior engineers, writing tests, and contributing to improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/BCA/MCA in CS or related field.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Git version control.
• Familiarity with React or modern frontend framework.
• Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and JSON data formats.
• Strong problem-solving skills and DSA basics.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend components using React and Tailwind CSS.

About This Role

Work on production-grade frontend and backend systems using React, Spring Boot, and Node.js. Ship real features used by thousands of users across our SaaS products — from school management to logistics platforms.

A Day in the Life

You start your morning with a quick standup on Slack. By 10am, you're picking up a Jira ticket to build a new dashboard component in React. After lunch, you pair-program with a senior engineer to integrate a REST API. Before end of day, you push a PR, get code review feedback, and iterate. By week 2, your code is live in production.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain responsive frontend components using React 19 and Tailwind CSS
• Develop RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot or Node.js Express/NestJS
• Write unit tests (Jest, JUnit) and participate in peer code reviews
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces
• Debug and resolve production issues with guidance from tech leads
• Document code, APIs, and architectural decisions in Notion/Confluence
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/BCA/MCA in Computer Science or related field
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Git version control (branching, merging, PRs)
• Familiarity with React or any modern frontend framework (Vue, Angular also acceptable)
• Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and JSON data formats
• Strong problem-solving skills — comfortable with DSA basics
• Good written and verbal communication in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Personal projects or active GitHub profile with contribution history
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Familiarity with Docker containers
• Published technical blog posts or tutorials

  Total process: ~7–10 days
