Job summary

Alokknight offers a full-time internship (48 hours a week, Monday to Saturday) with a paid monthly stipend. You will work on real features on a production stack including Django REST backend, Next.js frontend, PostgreSQL, and Docker, shipping to real users from your first month.

Remote or from our Lucknow office, for 3–6 months. You'll ship end-to-end, fix real bugs, write migrations, and review code with the founder.

Qualifications

• Solid fundamentals in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Docker and Linux basics is a plus.
• A project you built yourself that we can review (GitHub link in application).
• Comfortable reading documentation and debugging independently.

Responsibilities

• Ship features end-to-end in Django/DRF and Next.js.
• Fix bugs reported by users and read logs, traces and metrics.
• Write database migrations and queries in PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate via Git PRs, code reviews, and CI.
• Pair with the founder on architecture decisions.

Job description

Build real features on a production stack — Django REST backend, Next.js 15 frontend, PostgreSQL, Docker — with code review on every pull request. You will ship to real users in your first month. This is a full-time internship (48 hours a week, Monday to Saturday), remote or in Lucknow.

What you'll do

• Ship features end-to-end: the API endpoint in Django/DRF, the UI in Next.js and Tailwind, and the tests
• Fix bugs reported by real users and learn to read logs, traces and metrics
• Write database migrations and queries against PostgreSQL
• Work in Git with pull requests, code review and CI
• Pair with the founder on architecture decisions and learn the why, not just the how
