Job summary

Frido in Pune invites final-year undergraduates or recent graduates to join a full-time, on-site internship. You will work across the stack, building web applications with React.js/Next.js and Node.js/Express.js, and collaborate on API design, database schemas, and deployment pipelines.

You will gain hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Tailwind CSS, and Git/GitHub while contributing to real-world projects and receiving mentorship from experienced developers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript across frontend and backend contexts.
• Hands-on experience with React.js or Next.js.
• Comfort working with Node.js and Express.js.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database concepts.
• Understanding of REST API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first styling frameworks.
• Experience using Git and GitHub for version control.
• A GitHub profile, portfolio, or at least one live project you can demonstrate.
• Genuine interest in learning new technologies and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to debug systematically.
• Willingness to take on challenges and grow as a developer.

About the role

• Build and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
• Develop server-side services and APIs that power dynamic user experiences
• Work with databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with team members on code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines
• Debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes
• Contribute to both frontend interfaces and backend infrastructure across the stack
