Job summary

ConveGenius Group in India is seeking an experienced backend developer to design low-latency, high-availability systems at scale. You will mentor developers, own delivery, and optimize data-intensive services using Node.js, Express.js, and microservices.

You will collaborate with frontend teams, implement robust cloud architectures, and contribute to GenAI-powered tooling, including RAG pipelines, to accelerate development. AWS, Docker, and databases like DynamoDB/MongoDB are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring developers and delivering projects.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• In-depth knowledge of Express.js and Restify.
• Experience building backend services for large-scale data.
• Ability to architect high-availability apps on cloud; microservices preferred.
• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of Node.js concepts like the event loop.
• Experience with GenAI-powered backends or tools such as prompt routers, embedding search, and RAG pipelines is a plus.
• Understanding of WebSockets and clean architecture/SOLID principles.
• Basic knowledge of AWS and Docker; Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git.

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness, correctness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
• Take initiatives to build better and faster solutions to the problems of scale.
• Troubleshoot application-related issues and work with the infrastructure team to triage Major Incidents.
• Experience in analyzing/researching solutions and developing/implementing recommendations accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of four years of professional experience
• Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring developers, including work allocation, delivery ownership,
• and performance feedback.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• In-depth knowledge of frameworks like Express JS and Restify
• Experience in building backend services for handling data at large scale is a must
• Ability to architect high-availability applications and servers on cloud adhering to best practices; microservices
• architecture is preferable
• Experience working with MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB
• In-depth knowledge of Node JS concepts like the event loop
• Ability to perform technical deep-dives into code
• Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered backend services or tools such as prompt routers,
• embedding search, and RAG pipelines
• Understanding of communication using WebSockets
• Good understanding of clean architecture and SOLID principles
• Basic knowledge of AWS and Docker containerization is preferable
• Experience in Python is a plus
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude to accelerate development,
• assist in code reviews, and support efficient coding practices is a plus
• Familiarity with Git
