Job summary

Pluxee, a leader in employee benefits and engagement, is seeking an experienced software professional to design and develop scalable services in a hybrid, globally collaborative environment. You will actively participate in agile ceremonies and work closely with QA, Product, and Design to ensure high-quality, user-centered outcomes.

You will also write tests, maintain API contracts, and contribute to documentation while staying current with modern development trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, ideally in an agile product team.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Software Design & Development: Translate product requirements into clean, efficient, and maintainable code; contribute to system design and architecture discussions; build scalable, secure, and reusable services and features.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in agile ceremonies and backlog grooming; partner with QA, Product, and Design for testability and user experience; contribute to squad rituals and delivery outcomes.
• Testing & Documentation: Write unit and integration tests; maintain technical documentation, API contracts, and developer notes; support debugging and incident resolution.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to engineering practices, architecture, or performance; stay current with modern development trends, tools, and patterns; share knowledge through code reviews and discussions.

• Experience with microservices, databases, and containerized environments is a plus.

Languages

• For global, regional, or area roles, fluency in English is required. Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, or other relevant languages are an advantage.
• For local country leadership and management roles, fluency in the local language and English is required.
• For local individual contributor roles, fluency in the local language is required. English is considered an advantage as it supports communication, learning, and collaboration in a multinational context.
