Job summary

PLUXEE INDIA PRIVATE LTD in Mumbai is seeking a software engineer with 3+ years of experience to translate product requirements into scalable services. You will contribute to system design and build secure, reusable components that power our products.

The role requires active participation in agile ceremonies, collaboration with QA, Product, and Design, and responsibilities for testing, documentation, and incident support. English fluency is required for multinational collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, ideally in an agile product team.
• Proficiency in one or more languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) with familiarity in modern frameworks, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with microservices, databases, and containerized environments is a plus.
• English fluency required; local language skills are an advantage in multinational contexts.

1. Software Design & Development Translate product requirements into clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Contribute to system design and architecture discussions. Build scalable, secure, and reusable services and features.


2. Agile Collaboration Participate actively in agile ceremonies and backlog grooming. Partner with QA, Product, and Design for testability and user experience. Contribute to squad rituals and delivery outcomes.


3. Testing & Documentation Write unit and integration tests to ensure functionality and stability. Maintain technical documentation, API contracts, and developer notes. Support debugging and incident resolution as needed.


4. Continuous Improvement Suggest and implement improvements to engineering practices, architecture, or performance. Stay current with modern development trends, tools, and patterns. Share knowledge with peers through code reviews and technical discussions.
