Job summary

Sourceright Technologies is seeking a Software Architect specialized in Android IVI for automotive systems. You will drive validation of automotive electronics products, focusing on Infotainment validation, ECU flashing, and test automation using CAPL and Python.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with CANoe/CANalyzer, Trace32, and related tools, plus excellent teamwork and English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Electronics.
• 5+ years in Automotive Software Validation.
• 3+ years in Automotive Infotainment Validation.

Responsibilities

• Create automated and manual DVP and execute it.
• Raise bugs and monitor progress.
• Develop test plans from requirements.
• Design and bring up test setup/test infra.
• Validate Infotainment features (BT, Tuner, Media, USB, WiFi, Android Auto, CarPlay, Navigation, VR, RVC).
• Flashing of ECU with latest build and perform smoke tests.
• Peer reviews within the team.
• Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.

Position: Software Architect - Android IVI (Automotive) (TT50ST RM 4529)

Overall responsibilities and duties:

Candiadte will be responsible for Software Validation activity which incliude validation for Automotive electronics Products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering degree in Electronics.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Automotive Software Validation Domain
• Atleast 3+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Validation

Skills and competencies:

Must Have:

• Strong understanding of Automotive Infotainment Systems its validation
• Hands on experience in Grey box test is must
• Hands on experience of Automation for Infotainment ECU is must.
• Good knowledge of software requirement understanding
• Experience in creating and executing the test cases/test plans developed from requirements
• Core experience in testing of Infotainment feature like BT, Tuner, Media,USB,WiFi, Andriod Auto, Car Play, Navigation, VR, RVC Software update.
• Experience on ECU flashing and flashing tools.
• Hands on experience in Python CAPL scripting for automated test cases writing.
• In depth Knowledge of HW/CANoe/CANalysers/PEAK CAN
• Knowledge and experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN UDS Protocols and related tools to measure and command signals, though scripting or otherwise.
• Good exposure in debugging tool ( Trace32, Seggar, J-Link, etc)
• Experience with Configuration Management, requirement management,revision control,issue-tracking,review tools like JIRA/ETM, DOORS/SVN/ GIT/GERRIT /Confluence etc.
• Good knowledge different testing technique
• Hands-on skills to design, build and bring up test setup / test infra.
• Must be a good team player and act as per the project needs
• Business level of English.

Responsibilities:

• Repsonsible to create Automated and manual DVP and its execution
• Interaction with team leader for different issues, hurdle improvement area on daily basis.
• Raise bug over bug tracking tool and monitor its progress.
• Develop plan to execute different kind of test
• Should create positive negative test scenario for robust testing
• Have ability to debug issue
• Flashing of ECU with latest build and perform smoke test over it
• Should able to perform PEER reviews among teamValidate system with different testing technique
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure software is updated with latest featureshw
