Job summary

Source-Right is seeking a Software Architect – Android IVI (Automotive) in Pune. You will lead validation activities for automotive electronics products, focusing on Infotainment systems.

The role requires deep hands-on experience in grey box testing and automation for Infotainment ECUs, with strong scripting in Python and CAPL. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Automotive Software Validation
• 3+ years in Automotive Infotainment Validation
• Strong understanding of Infotainment systems and validation processes
• Hands-on experience in grey box testing
• Experience automating Infotainment ECU tests
• Ability to design and execute tests from requirements
• Familiarity with BT, Tuner, Media, USB, WiFi, Android Auto, Car Play, Navigation, VR, RVC
• Knowledge of ECU flashing and related tools
• Scripting in Python and CAPL for automated tests
• Experience with HW/CANoe/CANalyser/PEAK CAN
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, UDS protocols and related tools
• Experience with trace/debug tools (Trace32, Segger, J-Link)
• Experience with CM and requirement management tools
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Team player with English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create automated and manual Dynamic Verification Plans (DVP) and execute them
• Collaborate with team lead to address issues and improvements daily
• Raise bugs and track progress in bug-tracking tools
• Develop plans to execute different kinds of tests
• Create positive and negative test scenarios for robust testing
• Debug issues and verify fixes
• Flash ECU with latest builds and perform smoke tests
• Conduct peer reviews within the team
• Validate systems using various testing techniques

Overall Responsibilities And Duties

Candiadte will be responsible for Software Validation activity which incliude validation for Automotive electronics Products

Qualifications: o Bachelor/Master of Engineering degree in Electronics.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Automotive Software Validation Domain
• Atleast 3+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Validation

Skills And Competencies

Must Have:

• Strong understanding of Automotive Infotainment Systems & its validation
• Hands on experience in Grey box test is must
• Hands on experience of Automation for Infotainment ECU is must.
• Good knowledge of software requirement understanding
• Experience in creating and executing the test cases/test plans developed from requirements
• Core experience in testing of Infotainment feature like BT, Tuner, Media,USB,WiFi, Andriod Auto, Car Play, Navigation, VR, RVC & Software update.
• Experience on ECU flashing and flashing tools.
• Hands on experience in Python & CAPL scripting for automated test cases writing.
• In depth Knowledge of HW/CANoe/CANalysers/PEAK CAN
• Knowledge and experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN &UDS Protocols and related tools to measure and command signals, though scripting or otherwise.
• Good exposure in debugging tool ( Trace32, Seggar, J-Link, etc)
• Experience with Configuration Management, requirement management

revision control,issue-tracking,review tools like JIRA/ETM, DOORS/SVN/ GIT/GERRIT /Confluence etc.

• Good knowledge different testing technique
• Hands-on skills to design, build and bring up test setup / test infra.
• Must be a good team player and act as per the project needs
• Business level of English.

• Flashing of ECU with latest build and perform smoke test over it
• Should able to perform PEER reviews among team
