Job summary

You will lead cross-functional teams across Android App, Middleware, Framework, Kernel, and Bootloader, define AIDL/HIDL interfaces, and ensure architecture governance, performance, security, and reliability for critical IVI platforms.

Qualifications

• Total: 8–10 years experience in Software/Systems roles.
• Relevant: Minimum 6+ years in Automotive Infotainment, Android IVI, BSP, or Embedded Systems.
• Proven experience in architecting large Android-based IVI platforms.

Requirement/Description:

Total: 8–10 years

Relevant: Minimum 6+ years in AutomotiveInfotainment, Android IVI, BSP, or Embedded Systems

Key Responsibilities

1. System & Software Architecture

- Define, design, and own the end‑to‑endAndroid IVI software architecture, including apps, middleware, HAL layers,framework, kernel, and bootchain.

- Architect solutions for Android A12 / A14/ A16‑based IVI platforms, ensuring OEM-specific customization and scalability.

- Define architecture for AIDL / HIDLinterfaces, system services, custom framework extensions, and HAL integration.

- Drive architectural decisions for Audio,Media, HMI, Connectivity, Telephony, Vehicle I/O, and BSP subsystems.

2. Technical Leadership & Delivery

- Lead cross‑functional teams spanningAndroid App, Middleware, Framework, Kernel, and Bootloader areas.

- Guide development of key IVI featuressuch as media playback pipeline, audio routing, HMI frameworks, connectivitystacks, and AACP.

- Define non‑functional requirements suchas performance, security, reliability, boot time, and power.

3. Requirements & SpecificationManagement

- Perform requirement analysis anddecomposition for complex IVI features.

- Create high‑level & low‑levelarchitecture documents, interface specifications, API definitions, and designguidelines.

- Maintain end‑to‑end traceability usingtools such as DOORS/DNG.

- Lead system‑level integration acrossAndroid Framework, HAL, Kernel, and BSP.

- Optimize bootloader, boot time, devicebring‑up, and platform stability.

- Mentor teams on debugging using logcat,systrace, perfetto, ftrace, and kernel logs.

5. Compliance & Quality

- Ensure software meets ASPICE, ISO 26262,and cybersecurity standards.

- Define coding guidelines, architecturegovernance, and review cycles.

Required Technical Skills

- Android App, System Services, Framework,HAL, and AOSP customization.

- Expertise in Android A12, A14, A16,CTS/VTS.

- Connectivity stacks: Bluetooth, WiFi,AACP, Android Auto.

Preferred Attributes

- Strong analytical and architecturalthinking.

- Ability to mentor and lead teams.

- Experience with OEM/Tier‑1 infotainmentdelivery.
