Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with the ability to prepare structured reports and presentations.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies with the ability to understand basic data quality principles and practices.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Must be based in Bengaluru and willing to travel for field visits when required.

Responsibilities

• Support MSI's Senior Manager of Social Impact in executing and coordinating MSI's Social Impact initiatives in both the US and India.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation, grant records, and partner databases.
• Conduct research on nonprofit organizations, government schemes, public policies, and social sector trends.
• Support the review of grant proposals and assist in compiling due diligence documentation.
• Coordinate with nonprofit partners to collect reports, project updates, financial documents, and other required information.
• Prepare presentations, project summaries, meeting notes, and internal reports.
• Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports.
• Maintain project trackers and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables from partner organizations.
• Assist in planning meetings, workshops, webinars, and field visits.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for the Social Impact team.
• Accompany the team on field visits, when required, to gain exposure to project implementation and monitoring.
• Perform additional duties as required and/or requested.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Trainee - Social Impact Team to be based in our Bengaluru office. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about the social sector and eager to learn.

Summary
