Job summary

MSI Services Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Inventory Planning and Replenishment Analyst to lead forecasting, demand planning, and SKU-level inventory management.

You will collaborate with sales and operations to optimize stock levels, monitor supplier performance, and drive data-driven decisions. The role requires 5–8 years in forecasting/planning with 2+ years in leadership, MBA or related degree preferred, and willingness to work from office in Bangalore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, International Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 5–8 years of forecasting/planning analyst experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work, monitor team performance, provide coaching.
• Develop team capabilities through training and knowledge sharing.
• Establish priorities, manage workloads, and ensure sourcing projects meet timelines and budgets.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to improve quality and delivery.
• Use shipment data, market trends and POS data to develop demand plans and inventory buys.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to forecast down to SKU level and anticipate changes.
• Identify stock shortages and transfer between warehouses to maintain minimum stock levels.
• Solve problems as they arise, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and suggest process improvements.
• Deliver periodic analysis of purchases, sales and inventory under various parameters.
• Input project inventory into the system and coordinate with product teams for timely orders.
• Communicate with business units and conduct meetings with accurate analyses.

1. Allocate work, monitor team performance, provide coaching

3. Establish priorities, manage workloads, and ensure sourcing projects are completed on time and within budget
4. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to improve quality, delivery, and service levels
5. Use current and historical shipment information, market trends and POS data to develop demand plans and execute inventory buys
6. With internal sales and operations team to develop specific forecasts down to the SKU-level, and anticipate changes which can impact planning
7. Identify stock shortages and initiate transfers between warehouses to maintain the minimum required inventory levels for the item
8. Solve problems as they arise, conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed, and provide recommendations for current operational procedures
9. Understand business dynamics and deliver periodical, in-depth analysis of Purchase, Sales and Inventory management functions under various parameters
10. Create and input project inventory into the system, and coordinate with the product team to ensure timely order placement and follow-up Perform additional duties as required and or requested
11. Communicates with the Business units on a regular basis and conduct meetings and provides accurate analysis

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, International Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
• 2. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 3. 5-8 years of experience in forecasting/planning analyst role, Product Sourcing, Procurement, Product Development, or Supply Chain, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
