Responsibilities

• Support Senior Manager in executing MSI's Social Impact initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit partners; serve as primary contact.
• Conduct field visits to monitor project implementation and verify outcomes.
• Lead monitoring, evaluations, and impact assessments of funded initiatives.
• Support NGO onboarding, due diligence, and compliance with funding/reporting requirements.
• Review grant proposals, project plans, and budgets to assist funding decisions.
• Prepare field visit reports, impact assessments, and management presentations.
• Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports.
• Develop partnerships with foundations, CSR organizations, and government agencies.
• Identify and leverage relevant government schemes to strengthen MSI's impact.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and community outreach for Bengaluru employees.
• Represent MSI at partner meetings, conferences, and community events.

Role Overview

For over three decades, MSI's philanthropic initiatives have created lasting impact across education, healthcare and nutrition, vocational training, and community development. We are seeking an Associate – Social Impact Team to join our Bengaluru office.

Summary

The role involves managing relationships with nonprofit partners, conducting field visits and project assessments across India, monitoring funded initiatives, evaluating grant opportunities, and identifying partnerships that strengthen MSI's philanthropic initiatives. This position requires a proactive individual who enjoys working directly with communities, nonprofit organizations, and stakeholders to create measurable social impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Support MSI's Senior Manager of Social Impact in executing and managing MSI's Social Impact initiatives in both the US and India.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit partners and serve as a primary point of contact.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation, interact with beneficiaries, verify outcomes, and provide recommendations based on ground-level observations.
• Lead project monitoring, evaluations, and impact assessments to ensure funded initiatives achieve their intended outcomes.
• Support end-to-end NGO onboarding, organizational due diligence, and compliance with funding and reporting requirements.
• Review grant proposals, project plans, budgets, and supporting documentation to assist in funding recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive field visit reports, impact assessments, and management presentations.
• Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports.
• Develop partnerships with foundations, CSR organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to expand MSI's social impact initiatives.
• Identify and leverage relevant public policies and government schemes to strengthen and

Candidate Profile
