Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Greater Noida, India, seeks an experienced design implementation engineer (RTL2GDSII) for automotive SoCs. You will lead and contribute across RTL to GDSII flows, including synthesis, STA, PnR, DRC/LVS, and power integrity, with emphasis on 16nm/7nm FinFET and 28FDSOI processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in RTL to GDSII flow.
• Experience with 16nm/7nm FinFET and 28FDSOI processes.
• Proficient in Verilog and VHDL.
• Scripting proficiency in TCL and Perl.

Responsibilities

• Implement design from RTL to GDSII for automotive SOCs (MCU, engine control, safety, ADAS).
• Guide and review work by junior engineers; strong technical contributor.
• Synthesize, STA, floorplanning, CTS, PnR, DRC/LVS, SI, IR drop analysis.
• Communicate with management and customers; ensure automotive standard compliance.

Our technology starts with you.YOUR ROLEThe Incumbent will be responsible for design Implementation (RTL2GDSII) of products related to MCU, Engine control , Safety(including airbag) , Body, Chassis and Advanced Driver Assistance System(ADAS) for futuristic cars. Responsibilities include guiding and reviewing work done by younger engineers along with being a strong technical contributor. This would involve strong communication and interpersonal skills , synthesizing and reporting data to management and customer.The job involve all aspects of Chip and IP Implementation using leading edge technologies like 7nm FINFET and 28FDSOI from RTL to GDSII. These SOC involve Integration of analog IPs and are Multi-supply, Multi-mode, Multi-corner having complex multiple clock structures.
