Job summary

Yugn HR is seeking a Sales Officer in Bengaluru to drive distribution and ensure product visibility across outlets in the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving retailing volume and collections targets through effective distributor management.

The incumbent should have a Graduate or MBA with 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience, and will engage with internal teams and external distributors to grow market share and strengthen brand presence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GMI products are sold to all relevant outlets in the territory.
• Manage distribution to ensure products are available in targeted outlets; identify new distributors.
• Ensure product visibility in all serviced outlets.
• Manage WB stock, claims and outstanding as per norms with WB.
• Supervise DSMs on man-days, productivity, and visibility; train on selling skills and product knowledge.
• Monitor competitor activities and report findings.
• Contribute branding ideas through local promotions and display contests.

REPORTS TO

Area Sales Manager

A. KEY PURPOSE

Responsible for the distribution and display of range of products in the area assigned. Achieve retailing volume and collection targets that have been assigned for the territory through effective distributor management.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensuring that GMI products are sold to all the relevant outlets in the assigned territory
2. Distribution - Ensuring that all products are available in the targeted outlets in the territory. Identifying new distributors.
3. Visibility - Ensuring that our products are visible in all the outlets that we service.
4. WB Management -. Ensuring availability of all SKUs with the WB and that the WB stocks, claims and outstanding are managed as per norms
5. DSM Management - Ensure that DSMs work as per norms on man-days, productivity and visibility. Training DSMs on Selling Skills & Product Knowledge
6. Monitoring and reporting of competitor activities.
7. Sharing suggestions and ideas for branding through local promotions, display contests etc.
