Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. invites applications for the position of Senior Manager / AGM Compressed Biogas (CBG) Project.

The role leads end-to-end execution of CBG projects from design review to commissioning, coordinating with EPCs, manufacturers, and regulators. The ideal candidate has 15–18 years in project planning and management in CBG or related sectors, with hands-on 2–5 years in CBG project operation or commissioning, and strong skills in P&ID, PLC/SCADA, MS Excel, and project scheduling.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Agriculture.
• MBA in Project Management, Waste Management, Food Processing (PMP/CAPM adds advantage).
• 15–18 years in Project Planning/Management in CBG/Fertiliser/Dairy/Oil & Gas; leadership capacity.
• Hands-on 2–5 years in CBG projects in senior role (operation/commissioning).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution plan from design review to commissioning.
• Manage project scope, objectives with stakeholders.
• Prepare mass/energy balance and process control systems.
• Develop project execution schedules with EPC, manufacturers, and authorities.
• Oversee project budget and standards with internal team.
• Supervise vendors, subcontractors, site team; QA plan.
• Ensure compliance with PCB, PESO, ISO, FCO, GOI norms and safety.
• Manage PLC/SCADA automation integration for plant operation.
• Plan feedstock supply and product distribution; optimize workflow.
• Engage oil & gas firms for gas off-take; coordinate fertilizer marketing.
• Lead cross-functional teams for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Monitor progress and prepare ramp-up plan.

Senior Manager / AGM Compressed Biogas (CBG) Project

Job Description

Lead end to end execution plan of Compressed Biogas (CBG) projects from Design review to Project commissioning.

Must be able to :

• Manage project requirement, scope, objectives with stakeholders.
• Prepare CBG plant mass/energy Balance and process control system.
• Prepare project execution schedule with EPC, Manufacture and Statutory Bodies.
• Manage Project Budget, Standards with coordination of internal team.
• Supervise Vendors, sub-contractors, Site team and prepare Quality Assurance plan.
• Ensure plant meet statutory compliance, regulatory requirement, PCB, PESO, ISO, FCO, State wise and GOI norms and Safety standards.
• Manage Automation System (PLC/SCADA) and ensuring integration for plant operation.
• Strategically plan to Manage consistent supply of Feedstock, final product distribution and optimizing workflow to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Deal with multiple Oil and Gas Companies for Gas Offtake.
• Coordinate with different fertilizer marketing companies for Organic manure sale.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on time and on budget project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and prepare ramp up plan.

Qualifications required:

Education: Diploma or B.E./B. Tech. Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Agriculture.

MBA: Project Management, waste Management, Food Processing, PMP/CAPM shall be an additional advantage.

Skillset required:

• Knowledge of P&ID, SOPs, RFQ, PLC/SCADA-Control system.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Project Management and Planning.
• Familiarity with anaerobic digestion, Gas Purification and Compression Technology, Liquid Organic Manure / Organic Manure Distribution Planning and Management work.
• Feedstock supply Management and Planning work.
• Auto CAD, MS Project, Primavera is a bonus.

Experience:

• Overall Experience 15-18 Years in Project Planning and Management as Leader in field of CBG / Fertiliser / Dairy / Food Processing / Oil and Gas compression and Distribution, Compliance and Safety Management.
• Hands on minimum 2-5 Years Experience in Compressed Biogas (CBG) Project / Operation / Commissioning in Senior Management role.
