Job summary

Syngenta is seeking a Russian language expert with a finance background to join our Invoice to Pay (I2P) team in India. You will manage invoice processing, translations, and validation of financial documents in Russian and English for Russia operations.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with company policies, and support month-end activities and audits. A background in finance, SAP ERP, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of experience in an MNC, Shared Services or BPO with finance/accounting exposure.
• Proficient in interpreting Russian and English financial documents.
• Experience with invoice to pay processes and tax invoices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process Russian and English vendor invoices and T&E claims.
• Translate and validate accounting documents for Russia operations.
• Serve as Russian-language contact for vendor queries and audits.
• Support month-end activities and audit readiness with Russian interpretation.

Job Description

To support this mission, we are looking for a Russian language expert with an accounting background to join our Invoice to Pay (I2P) team. This role requires strong Russian language proficiency to manage invoice processing, vendor communications, and financial document validation for Russia operations. You will serve as the Russian-language point of contact, ensuring accurate interpretation and processing of accounting documents in Russian and English.

Accountabilities:

• Invoice & Payment Processing: Process vendor invoices, payment runs, and Travel & Expense claims in Russian and English, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Document Verification & Compliance: Review, translate, and validate Russian-language accounting documents, tax invoices, and statutory records to ensure compliance with Russianregulations.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary Russian-language contact for vendor queries, exception resolution, and coordination with Russia-based stakeholders.
• Month-End Support & Audit Readiness: Assist with closing activities, reconciliations, and audit documentation requiring Russianlanguage interpretation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Russian language proficiency – Speak, Read, and Write (mandatory)
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification3-5 years of experience in an MNC, Shared Services, or BPO environment with exposure to finance/accounting processes
• Ability to interpret and process financial documents in both Russianand English
• Working knowledge of Invoice to Pay processes (invoice processing, exception handling, payments, T&E)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in Russianand English
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently handle queries

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience with SAP ERP and VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) tool
• Familiarity with Russiantax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, tax invoices)
• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles
• Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives within finance operations
