Job summary

Syngenta India is seeking an senior finance and technology leader with deep I2P expertise to drive end-to-end process transformation. You will oversee multiple SAP-based initiatives, coordinating with global business stakeholders, IT, and system integrators to deliver scalable finance solutions.

The role requires hands-on SAP VIM and S/4HANA experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering complex programs across regions. A global, matrix environment offers broad exposure.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Finance Process & Technology, with deep expertise in the Invoice to Pay domain.
• Strong end-to-end understanding of Invoice to Pay processes, including invoice processing, approvals, exception handling, vendor management, and payment processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP VIM, Intelligent Capture, SAP Concur, and SAP S/4HANA implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Invoice to Pay (I2P) process and solution portfolio, driving standardization, optimization, and digital transformation.
• Manage a portfolio of multiple initiatives, ensuring successful delivery across timelines, quality, budget, and outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams and provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Partner with global business stakeholders, IT, and system integrators to define and implement scalable finance solutions.
• Drive solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and hyper-care activities for SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
• Governance, risks, escalations, and stakeholder communications across programs.
• Bridge between business process requirements and technology solutions for end-to-end delivery.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong end-to-end Invoice to Pay (I2P) process knowledge along with hands‑on experience in finance technology solutions and SAP implementation programs.

• Manage governance, risks, escalations, and stakeholder communications across multiple programs.
• Act as a bridge between business process requirements and technology solutions to ensure effective end-to-end delivery.

• Hands‑on experience with:
  • SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
  • Intelligent Capture
  • SAP Concur
  • SAP S/4HANA implementation and transformation programs
• Proven experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, including solution design, testing, deployment, and business adoption.
• Experience managing a portfolio of multiple projects or a strategic book of work simultaneously.
• Strong people leadership experience, including managing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience working in a global, matrix organization is highly desirable.
