Job summary

Syngenta Group in Pune is seeking a Russian language expert with an accounting background to join the Invoice to Pay (I2P) team. You will manage Russian/English invoice processing and validate financial documents for Russia operations, acting as the primary language liaison for vendors and stakeholders.

You will support month-end close, ensure compliance, and assist with audit documentation, leveraging SAP ERP and VIM tools to drive accuracy and efficiency in financial workflows.

Qualifications

• Russian language proficiency – Speak, Read, and Write (mandatory).
• Finance degree or MBA with 3–5 years in an SSC/BPO environment exposed to finance/accounting processes.
• Ability to interpret and process financial documents in both Russian and English.
• Working knowledge of Invoice to Pay processes (invoice processing, exception handling, payments, T&E).

Responsibilities

• Invoice & Payment Processing: Process vendor invoices, payment runs, and T&E claims in Russian and English with accuracy.
• Document Verification & Compliance: Review/translate/validate Russian accounting documents and tax invoices for compliance.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Communication: Act as primary Russian-language contact for queries and coordination with Russia-based stakeholders.
• Month-End Support & Audit Readiness: Assist with closing activities, reconciliations, and audit documentation needing Russian interpretation.

Job Description

To support this mission, we are looking for a Russian language expert with an accounting background to join our Invoice to Pay (I2P) team. This role requires strong Russian language proficiency to manage invoice processing, vendor communications, and financial document validation for Russia operations. You will serve as the Russian-language point of contact, ensuring accurate interpretation and processing of accounting documents in Russian and English.

Accountabilities:

• Invoice & Payment Processing: Process vendor invoices, payment runs, and Travel & Expense claims in Russian and English, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Document Verification & Compliance: Review, translate, and validate Russian-language accounting documents, tax invoices, and statutory records to ensure compliance with Russianregulations.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary Russian-language contact for vendor queries, exception resolution, and coordination with Russia-based stakeholders.
• Month-End Support & Audit Readiness: Assist with closing activities, reconciliations, and audit documentation requiring Russianlanguage interpretation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Russian language proficiency – Speak, Read, and Write (mandatory)
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification3–5 years of experience in an MNC, Shared Services, or BPO environment with exposure to finance/accounting processes
• Ability to interpret and process financial documents in both Russianand English
• Working knowledge of Invoice to Pay processes (invoice processing, exception handling, payments, T&E)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in Russianand English
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently handle queries

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience with SAP ERP and VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) tool
• Familiarity with Russiantax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, tax invoices)
• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles
• Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives within finance operations
