Job summary

Microland Limited in Bengaluru, India seeks an Associate Technical Specialist - Network & Security to design and deliver advanced network solutions. The role requires an Engineering degree and hands-on experience with SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Cisco/Fortinet/Palo Alto technologies, plus security best practices.

You will collaborate with Customer IT teams, document architectures, mentor junior staff, and ensure solutions meet architecture standards.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or MCA required.
• Hands-on experience with WAN/LAN/Security technologies.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki and related security tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and design network solutions aligned with IT strategy.
• Participate in solution design and execution.
• Collaborate with Customer IT teams to meet network and security needs.
• Configure and troubleshoot OEM products for SD-WAN/LAN/WLAN per design.
• Continuously assess and refine network architectures to meet changing needs.
• Document designs and architectures; train IT staff as needed.
• Monitor performance and resolve issues to improve reliability.
• Provide second-level support and guide junior staff.
• Define infrastructure standards aligned with best practices.

Analysing the business requirement, project scope and developing network design and roadmaps for technology solutions that align with the organization s overall IT strategy and goals.

• Participating in solution design and execution
• Collaborating with Customer IT teams, to ensure that the Design solutions meet the organization s network & security requirements.
• Configuring and troubleshooting different OEM Products, to ensure proper operation of the SD-WAN/LAN/WLAN according to the architectural design and standards.
• Continuously assessing, reviewing and refining the Network solutions and architectures to keep up with the changing business needs, technologies and industry standards.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of Overall Design solutions and architectures, and providing training to other IT staff as needed.
• Monitoring the performance of the solution to identify and resolve any issues, and making adjustments as needed to improve performance.
• Documenting the solution and providing training to other team members as needed.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the solutions and architectures
