Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in consulting or cloud financial management roles.
• Strong FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analyst background.
• Understanding of public cloud pricing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Relevant certifications (FinOps Practitioner).
• Knowledge of FinOps tools like IBM Cloudability, Flexera CCO.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on cloud cost optimisation strategies, governance, and budgeting.
• Lead FinOps engagements across assessment, implementation, and ongoing mgmt.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Procurement to design FinOps solutions.
• Develop and deliver training/workshops on FinOps principles and tools.
• Analyse cloud spend data, identify trends, and present insights to stakeholders.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with a strong background in FinOps (Cloud Financial Management) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping clients optimise their cloud investment, drive financial accountability, and implement best practices for cost management across multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on cloud cost optimisation strategies, financial governance, and budgeting processes.
• Lead FinOps engagements, including assessment, implementation, and ongoing management of cloud financial operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Procurement) to design and deliver tailored FinOps solutions.
• Develop and deliver training and workshops on FinOps principles and tools.
• Analyse cloud spend data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in consulting or cloud financial management roles
• Proven experience in a FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Financial Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their pricing models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical and financial data into clear recommendations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner).
• Knowledge of leading FinOps tools (e.g, IBM Cloudability, Flexera CCO) is a plus.
