Job summary

Insight is seeking a Senior Consultant in FinOps to help clients optimise cloud investment across multi‑cloud environments. You will lead engagements, advise on cost governance and budgeting, and implement FinOps best practices with cross‑functional teams.

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, CS or Engineering is required, with 7+ years of experience and 5+ years in consulting or cloud FinOps. Proficiency in AWS, Azure and GCP pricing models and SAM/ITAM knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, CS or Engineering.
• 7+ years in industry with 5+ years in consulting or cloud FinOps.
• Proven FinOps, cloud cost management or financial analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of public cloud pricing (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on cloud cost optimization and budgeting.
• Lead FinOps engagements from assessment through ongoing management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance and Procurement to design FinOps solutions.

Advise clients on cloud cost optimisation strategies, financial governance, and budgeting processes. Lead FinOps engagements, including assessment, implementation, and ongoing management of cloud financial operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Procurement) to design and deliver tailored FinOps solutions. Develop and deliver training and workshops on FinOps principles and tools. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Overall 7+ years of industry expeericne and 5+ years’ experience in consulting or cloud financial management roles. Proven experience in a FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Financial Analyst role. Basic knowledge of SAM/ITAM Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their pricing models.
