Indian Railways is seeking a Senior Site Supervisor for Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) to supervise, coordinate, and ensure safe execution of S&T works at site, in accordance with Indian Railways standards and contract specifications.
The role involves managing manpower, materials, and progress, with extensive field work across stations, yards, and tracks, including blocks and night shifts. Diploma/ITI candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.

To supervise, coordinate, and ensure safe execution of Signalling & Telecommunication works at site in compliance with Indian Railways standards, safety rules, and contract specifications, while managing manpower, materials, and progress.
Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of S&T systems such as:
Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, RDSO specifications, and Railway safety norms.
Enforce Railway safety rules, block working procedures, and safe working practices.
Ensure use of proper PPE and safety tools at site.
Coordinate with Traffic, Electrical, and Engineering departments during blocks and crossings.
Lead and supervise testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
Ensure proper documentation of test results and joint inspections.
Attend inspections by Railway officials and address observations.
Allocate daily work to technicians, supervisors, and helpers.
Monitor productivity and workmanship quality.
Coordinate availability of tools, plant, and materials.
Act as a single point of contact at site for Railway officials.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other departments.
Participate in site meetings and progress reviews.
Maintain site records including:
Report delays, issues, and risks to the Project Manager.
Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation Engineering
ITI (Signal / Electronics) with extensive experience may be considered
8–12 years of hands‑on experience in Indian Railways S&T works
Proven experience in major signaling projects, yard remodeling, EI commissioning, or doubling works
Prior experience as Site Supervisor / Senior Technician preferred
Strong knowledge of Indian Railways S&T systems and procedures
Ability to read and interpret signaling drawings and schematics
Leadership and team management skills
Good coordination and communication abilities
Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, email)
Extensive field work in stations, yards, and track locations
Willingness to work during traffic blocks, night shifts, and emergencies
Adherence to strict safety and railway operational protocols
