Job summary

Detection Instruments India invites Site Engineers (diploma engineers) with 6 months to 3 years of hands-on experience to service and maintain Fire Alarm systems at Indian Railways stations. The role includes on-site work, safety compliance, and coordination with multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will be ready to work on-site, handle procurement tasks, and ensure timely project completion in line with customer specifications and railway regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering with 6 months to 3 years hands-on experience in servicing fire alarm systems.
• Experience with Fire Alarm systems by Ravel, Honeywell, NOTO Fire makes is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site at Indian Railways stations and travel as required.
• Familiarity with safety norms and railway site regulations.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems at Indian Railways stations in specified divisions.
• Ensuring implementation of safety norms for entire team working at all the railway station sites.
• Proper closure and handing over of the project sites to the customer/end-user by signing MBs.
• Hands on experience in sourcing manpower and contractors required to execute the project site.
• Purchase/Procurement of material required at project sites as and when required.
• Well versed with Safety Procedures at construction Sites, Indian Electricity Rules and statutory regulations for installation in process plant.
• Time to time reporting daily progress (DPR) to management and customers.
• Coordinating with HO, internal departments like Sales, Projects etc.
• Ensure timely completion of projects that meet customers specifications and business needs.

Urgently require Site Engineers (diploma engineers) having 6 months to 3 years hands on experience in maintaining/Servicing Fire Alarm Systems (Ravel, Honeywell, NOTO Fire make) installed at Indian Railways project stations under Ajmer, Mumbai,howrah, delhi , bhopal division of Indian Railways to handle AMC of Fire Alarm Systems.

Role & responsibilities

1. Shall be responsible for Servicing and Maintenance of Fire Alarm systems (Ravel, Honeywell, NOTO Fire make) in Indian Railways stations at Rajkot, Mumbai & Bilaspur division.
2. Ensuring implementation of safety norms for entire team working at all the railway station sites.
3. Proper closure and handing over of the project sites to the customer/end-user by signing Measurement Books (MB) from railway authorities.
4. Hands on experience in sourcing manpower and contractors required to execute the project site as and when needed.
5. Purchase/Procurement of material required at project sites as and when required.
6. Well versed with Safety Procedures at construction Sites, Indian Electricity Rules and statutory regulations for installation in process plant.
7. Time to time reporting daily progress (DPR) to management, concern customers officials and ensure smooth running of the project sites.
8. Coordinating with HO, internal departments like Sales, Projects etc.
9. Ensure timely completion of projects that meet customers specifications and business needs.
