Job summary

Detection Instruments India is seeking an AMC Site Engineer Fire & Gas to manage maintenance and servicing of addressable fire alarm systems at multiple sites across Fatehgarh, Kasganj, Pilibhit, Lalkuan, and Kashipur. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and strong customer communication.

• Diploma / Graduate Engineer in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation required.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Hands-on experience with addressable Fire Alarm Systems is essential.
• Experience with Ravel or Honeywell alarm systems is an added advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable handling customer sites independently.
• Willingness to travel across assigned locations.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Available to join at short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle AMC activities for addressable Fire Alarm Systems at assigned customer sites.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, fault finding and breakdown support.
• Attend customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of system issues.
• Perform testing, inspection and routine maintenance of fire alarm panels, detectors and field devices.
• Maintain service reports and documentation for assigned sites.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for AMC activities.
• Travel between assigned locations for AMC service and breakdown calls.

Position: AMC Site Engineer Fire & Gas / Fire Alarm Systems
Location: To be stationed at Izzatnagar (IZN), with responsibility for AMC sites at Fatehgarh (FGR), Kasganj (KSJ), Pilibhit (PBE), Lalkuan (LKU) & Kashipur (KPV).

Role & responsibilities

• Handle AMC activities for addressable Fire Alarm Systems at assigned customer sites.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, fault finding and breakdown support for fire alarm systems.
• Experience in handling Ravel / Honeywell addressable Fire Alarm Systems will be preferred.
• Attend customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of system-related issues.
• Perform testing, inspection and routine maintenance of fire alarm panels, detectors, modules and associated field devices.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance records and documentation for assigned sites.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for smooth execution of AMC activities.
• Travel between assigned locations as required for AMC service and breakdown calls.
• Ensure proper adherence to safety, quality and company service procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / Graduate Engineer in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline.
• 2- 3 years of relevant experience in servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Hands-on experience with addressable Fire Alarm Systems is essential.
• Experience with Ravel or Honeywell make systems will be an added advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Should be comfortable handling customer sites independently.
