HCLTech is actively seeking experienced, high-caliber Site Reliability Engineers (Azure) with 5+ years of experience to join our Noida and Lucknow teams. Responsible for availability, latency, performance, and monitoring of Azure platforms with automation, CI/CD, and observability focus.

In this role you will own cloud reliability, incident management, remediation automation, SLOs/SLIs, and collaboration with software squads to ensure resilient architectures. Immediate availability preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive professional experience in site reliability engineering, cloud operations, or systems administration.
• Strong hands-on experience managing reliability and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Deep practical proficiency in SRE methodologies, incident response, automated remediation, and post-mortem analysis.
• Experience with observability tools, monitoring platforms, and log analytics.
• Automation scripting (Python, PowerShell) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Immediate availability and legal work eligibility for India (Noida/Lucknow).
• Certifications such as CKA or Azure DevOps Engineer are a plus.

Detailed Job Description

As a Site Reliability Engineer (Azure) supporting HCLTech across Noida and Lucknow, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of cloud reliability, incident management, automation tooling, and production support. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing automated remediation workflows, managing SLOs/SLIs, analyzing root causes of production outages, optimizing Azure resource performance, building CI/CD deployment pipelines, implementing observability suites, and collaborating closely with software development and platform engineering squads. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex reliability bottlenecks under strict enterprise service level agreements. Furthermore, you will manage application requirements.

• Ensure the reliability, uptime, performance, and scalability of mission-critical Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Define, monitor, and report on Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) for enterprise applications.
• Implement rigorous incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-mortem review processes for production outages.
• Automate manual operational tasks, provisioning workflows, and routine maintenance using scripting and IaC frameworks.
• Build and optimize CI/CD deployment pipelines to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous code releases.
• Configure advanced observability, logging, metrics collection, and alerting suites (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
• Collaborate seamlessly with software engineering squads to design fault-tolerant and highly resilient cloud architectures.
• Author meticulous SRE runbooks, automated recovery scripts, and reliability engineering documentation.

• Strong, demonstrable hands-on operational experience managing reliability and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure environments.

• Proven operational experience in observability tools, monitoring platforms, and log analytics.
• Solid practical proficiency in automation scripting (Python, PowerShell) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure production conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Mandatory immediate availability and legal work eligibility for full-time operations in Noida or Lucknow.

• Professional certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Hands-on familiarity with chaos engineering principles and automated resilience testing frameworks.
