Responsibilities:

As an Azure Platform Engineer supporting HCLTech across Noida and Lucknow, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, deployment automation, and platform reliability engineering. Your day-to-day responsibilities include provisioning and configuring Azure cloud resources, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, building CI/CD deployment pipelines, managing containerized workloads, configuring observability and monitoring suites, troubleshooting complex production support issues, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional software development, security, and infrastructure squads. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills to resolve complex cloud infrastructure bottlenecks under strict enterprise service level agreements.

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Azure Bicep to automate environment provisioning.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD deployment pipelines for seamless application and infrastructure releases.
• Monitor cloud platform performance, resource utilization, and security posture using advanced observability tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production support incidents, network bottlenecks, and access control issues.
• Collaborate seamlessly with software development, DevOps, and SRE squads to support cloud-native application delivery.
• Enforce cloud security compliance, data encryption standards, and identity and access management (IAM) policies.
• Author meticulous technical documentation, platform architecture runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, and systems administration.
• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on operational experience architecting and managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Deep practical proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation scripting (PowerShell, Python), and DevOps pipelines.
• Proven operational experience in cloud observability, monitoring, logging, and performance troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, networking principles, and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem‑solving capabilities under active production environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Mandatory immediate availability and legal work eligibility for full‑time operations in Noida or Lucknow.
