Position Summary:

General objective:

As part of the platform and tooling team you are responsible for the availability, good performance, and monitoring of the platform where FE IT supply chain applications are running on Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an engineering discipline that combines software and systems engineering to work in a proactive mode to avoid any issue, incident. The objective is to improve the availability and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for running stable platforms & applications. You will be part of a small team maintaining scale up platform and applications running on Cloud (Azure,..). You will be a member of the cloud competency center for supply chain.

Functional relations:

Apart from the relation with the superior, the main stakeholders of this position will be other IT people from different DIT SC Teams and IT teams in the local cluster.

Activities:

Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
Monitor app security and reliability (log well/observability), improve reliability, quality
Anticipate issues in a proactive way
Maintain/run software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
Measure and optimize system performance, getting ahead of customer needs
Provide primary operational support, on call H24 7 days a week
Registry security analysis after scanning
Rebuild/reply IaC scripts and diagnose after
Should be aware of DevOps concepts and best practices
SRE /Site Reliability Engineer/Reliability Engineer
Knowledge of Azure basic (storage account, ESB, AKS, ..)
System monitoring: Grafana is highly preferred over any other monitoring tool.
Should be aware of DevOps concepts and best practices. CI/CD implementation expertise.
Troubleshooting experience.
