Job summary

Aker Solutions is seeking a seasoned professional to support multi-discipline construction activities and ensure integrated project scheduling. The role requires close collaboration with lead engineers, site engineers, and contractors to prepare micro plans and monitor progress across engineering streams.

The candidate should have civil or mechanical background with EPC/EPCM exposure, and possess or be willing to pursue NICMAR or PMP certification.

Qualifications

• BE Civil/Mechanical with EPC construction exposure.
• NICMAR or PMP desirable.
• 20 years of experience in Construction Contractor/EPC and EPCM work.
• Knowledge of site construction activities and interfaces across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Lead Engineer/Site engineers and Contractors and prepare micro plans for all engineering disciplines.
• Provide input to HO planner for preparing and updating overall integrated project schedule.
• Review/Monitor resource planning of contractors and ensure reporting compliance.
• Align reporting format and cut-off dates for reporting.

Accountabilities:Interact with Lead Engineer / Site engineers and Contractors and prepare micro plans for all the engineering disciplines.Provide required input to HO planner for preparing and updating overall integrated project schedule.Review/ Monitor resource planning of contractorsAlign the format of reporting & cut of date for reporting and ensures that the reporting is strictly complied.Review daily progress reports submitted by contractors and respond in case of discrepancy in reporting.Prepare weekly/monthly reports.Provide weekly/monthly look ahead schedule.Participate in review meetings with client and contractors.Prepare action / recovery plan to meet the target in consultation with RCM.Prepares the project health chart giving root cause analysis and actions planned to mitigate the lag.Follow up for procurement of Site Materials / Equipment with Project Manager and Contractors.Evaluate Contractors catchup plans and provide feedbacks

Knowledge / skills required:Should be technically sound in his own discipline, have an overall understanding of the requirements and sequence of activities and interfaces of all disciplines.Basic knowledge of interdisciplinary construction activities related to other disciplines site works.BE CIVIL/MECHANICALDesirable - NICMAR , PMP Certification 20 Years of experience Construction Contractor/EPC and EPCM work experience
