Job summary

OPmobility in India, Maharashtra, is seeking an Injection Area Manager to lead the injection manufacturing activities, align with HSE requirements, and drive plant performance against IPIs. The role is based at Badhalwadi, Pune, and requires close collaboration with the program development team.

You will coach shift leaders, manage IMS processes, and implement continuous improvement across the injection moulding area, coordinating with the program development team.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in injection manufacturing.
• Location: Badhalwadi, Pune.
• Experience with IMS (Integrated Management System) and IPIs.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements injection manufacturing activities in line with HSE requirements, customer expectations and plant objectives ensuring optimum performance against IPIs.
• Coaches and develops team leaders, to ensure maximum efficiency on shifts.
• Implements continuous improvement plans and activities to maximise the efficiency and development of the Injection Moulding process.
• As a process owner, is accountable for the IMS process management(process review, KPIs management, procedure review, corrective and preventive actions implementation as needed & resources provision for process realization)taking into consideration relevant requirements & its evolution.
• 12 IPIs with specific focus on injection area (CNQ, RFT, Moulding Scrap, Standards & Network).
• Taking part in the implementation of the plant progress plan encouraging staff involvement, through the implementation of specific follow-up activities.
• Leading daily production meetings, adjusting the resources according to the changes, implementing and making sure the efficiency of corrective actions.
• Providing appropriate support on new programs development in relation with Program development team.
