Job summary

Apto Global Employment Private Limited is seeking a senior electrical maintenance professional to oversee 132kV/220kV switchyard operations and maintenance. You will handle MV/LV switchgear, protection, metering, and testing of distribution components, while ensuring strict EHS compliance and high-quality MIS reporting.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of experience, BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with Supervisor license, and hands-on knowledge of ABB, Siemens and Schneider equipment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience in 220kV/132kV switchyard operation and maintenance.
• Should be well-versed with EHS rules and procedures specific to service projects and services business.
• Maintenance of MV switchgear (ABB HPA24 series) and related equipment.
• LV switchgear experience with Schneider is required.
• Knowledge of numerical relays including Siemens 7SJ61; DIGSI software desirable.
• Knowledge of installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of protection, metering & measurement of electrical parameters.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, codes, specifications & safety requirements.
• Knowledge of testing cables, switchgears & transformers.
• Ability to prepare MIS reports for maintenance, complaints, material, and breakdown analysis.
• Daily planning and monitoring of maintenance activity.
• Site KPI monitoring and actions to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 132kV/220kV switchyards.
• Ensure EHS compliance for service projects.
• Maintain MV switchgear (ABB HPA24) and LV switchgear (Schneider).
• Work with protection, metering and measurement of electrical parameters.
• Test power distribution components (cables, switchgears, transformers).
• Prepare MIS reports: maintenance, complaints, material, breakdown analysis.
• Plan daily maintenance activities and monitor site KPIs.

• Exp. in Maintenance of MV switch gear - ABB make HPA24 series type, Siemens make 3AH3, 3AH5
