Job summary

JAKSON Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in erection and testing/commissioning of switchyards. The role focuses on ensuring safety, accurate materials reconciliation, and efficient storage/handling on site.

The candidate will supervise the erection of 33/400 KV substations and related structures, including cable laying and termination, and will provide technical support during installation and commissioning at the project site.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Adherence to safety protocols, implementing measures to prevent hazards and maintaining a secure working environment.
• Reconciliation of materials, tracking inventory usage and ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Oversees storage and handling of materials, ensuring proper conditions and organization to prevent damage and delays.
• Supervises erection of 33/400 KV substation, cable laying & termination, Tower beam structures, Equipment structure, Electrical Panels, Power Transformers Etc. Ensuring precision in alignment, stability, and compliance with engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of Civil construction / Foundations / Control room Building etc.
• Provides technical support for installation, commissioning, and testing of systems and equipment at the project site.

Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Erection, Testing commissioning of switchyard.
