Job summary

Curia India Pvt Ltd is seeking a senior electrical engineer with 15–18 years of experience in API industry to lead electrical maintenance and calibration across utilities and process equipment. The role requires hands-on work with PCC/MCC, transformers and motors, plus SCADA, VFDs and UPS.

You will plan and supervise maintenance activities, ensure compliance, and liaise with production teams and authorities to maximize output while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Requires BE/B.Tech Electrical with 15–18 years of electrical engineering and maintenance experience in API industry.
• Extensive planning, scheduling and execution of electrical maintenance and calibration of utility and process equipment.
• Strong hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of substations, boilers, chillers, nitrogen systems and cooling towers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute electrical maintenance and calibration for utilities and process equipment.
• Manage daily electrical maintenance activities including breakdowns, modifications, preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Provide hands-on maintenance for PCC/MCC, DG, transformers, motors and related electrical systems.
• Maintain electrical and control system maintenance for boilers, thermopac, brine plant, chilled water and other auxiliary systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA, VFDs, UPS, TCU and purified water systems.
• Ensure IQ/OQ/PQ documentation for existing and new equipment and liaise with authorities for compliance.

Job description

Candidate should be B.E.-Electrical or B.Tech-Electrical with 15-18 years in Electrical Engineering and Maintenance experience from API Industry.

• Planning, scheduling and execution of electrical maintenance & Calibration activity of the utility and process equipment.
• Managing the daily electrical maintenance activities such as breakdown, modification, preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance etc.
• Hands on experience in the electrical operation & maintenance & trouble shooting of the sub- station -PCC, MCC, DG, Transformer, Motors.
• Hand on experience in the electrical & control system maintenance for utility equipments Boiler, thermopac, Brine plant, chilled water system, Nitrogen generation system, cooling towers etc.
• Hand on experience in the electrical & control system maintenance for process equipment’s like Reactors, ANFDs, HVAC system, Blenders, RVD, PTS, centrifuge’s etc.
• Hand on experience with the maintenance of the VFDs, UPS, Temperature control unit (TCU), SCADA system and Purified water system.
• Responsible for the calibration & maintenance of the instruments like TT, PT, VT Level transmitters, controls valves etc of the site.
• Project management- Installation and commissioning of various types of motors, panels (HT & LT panels), Transformers and various electrical equipment’s.
• Maintaining effective working relationship with production team, field crews, contractors, vendors and outside agencies.
• Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe execution of the projects within the time & cost parameters and effective resources utilization to maximize the output.
• Maintaining & monitoring of the critical spares inventory.
• Liaising with government authority with Electrical & weights & measurement for statuary compliance.
• Must have the electrical supervisory license.
• To ensure that IQ, OQ and PQ documents are available for all the existing equipment and are prepared for new equipment being installed.
