Job summary

Earnmodes in Pune (India) seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to manage on-site maintenance and service activities for customers’ sites. The role involves handling MV/LV switchgear maintenance, transformer upkeep, relay coordination, and preventive as well as remedial works to ensure reliability and performance.

You will lead a small team, prepare reports, and coordinate with customers to ensure service quality and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years of experience in O&M of switchyard, plants & machinery.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage teams and customers.
• Good MS Office skills (Excel, PPT, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare energy consumption reports, shift schedules, and MIS.
• Monitor monthly SLA performance.
• Maintain MV/LV switchgear (ABB, Siemens, Areva) and associated relays.
• Oversee dry and oil-type transformers up to 8 MVA.
• Ensure proper maintenance of PCC/MCC panels and earthing systems.
• Coordinate relay protection schemes and grid modernization efforts.

Job Description Summary
All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers’ site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Aware to prepare the energy consumption report, shift schedule, MIS.
• Monthly SLA montering.
• Exp. in Maintenance of MV switch gear – ABB make VD4 & HPA24, Siemens make 3AH3 series & Areva make
• LV Switch Gear Siemens, ABB, L&T Make.
• Knowledge of Numerical Relays, Mainly ABB Make-REC 610, 615 series, SPAJ 140C, Areva, Siemens 7SJ relays
• Maintenance of dry and oil type of Transformers up to 8 MVA transformers
• Thorough knowledge of Battery Bank, capacity test and maintenance of the same
• Thorough knowledge of VCB/ACB control system and its functioning
• Should have worked with PCC, MCC panels and done the maintenance of the panels,
• Should have knowledge of relay coordination.
• Should have knowledge of APFC/TSC/RTPFC maintenance & its troubleshooting.
• Should have knowledge of Earthing system & maintenance & rectification.
• Should have good knowledge in digitalization grid and electrical system.
• Must have some basic knowledge in HVDC & FACTS if possible.

Qualification:

Should be a BE/Diploma in Electrical Engg. with 8-10 years of experience in O&M of switchyard, plants & machineries.

Desired Characteristics:

• Should have good managing skill to handle the team and customer.
• Well English communication with good mail communication.
• Good knowledge in MS software, PPT, word and excel.
