Job summary

Adani Enterprises Limited is seeking a Site Lead for IT Operations & IT Infrastructure in a data center environment. The role oversees availability, performance, security, and reliability of DC IT systems across servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.

You will lead 24x7 operations, drive incident management, RCA actions, and ensure compliance with SLAs and OLAs while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, electronics, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• ITIL Foundation / ITIL Expert highly desirable.
• Cisco CCNA / CCNP, VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
• CISSP / CISM / CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Data Center IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backups and monitoring.
• Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems.
• Lead capacity planning, upgrades, lifecycle management, and tech refreshes.
• Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software assets.
• Provide 24x7 operational support and enforce ITIL-based service management processes.
• Lead incident, problem, change and service request management; drive RCA and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, OLAs and customer commitments.
• Manage enterprise and DC network infrastructure including LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security policies and standards.
• Present operational performance reports to leadership; manage vendors and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor IT Operations, Network and Infrastructure teams; drive training and succession planning.

Role Overview

The Site Lead - IT Operations & IT Infrastructure will be responsible for managing and ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of IT infrastructure across a mission-critical Data Center environment. The role involves leading Data Center IT operations, infrastructure management, network services, system administration, cybersecurity compliance, customer support, and incident management while ensuring adherence to global uptime and operational excellence standards.

Experience

• 8-14 years of overall IT Infrastructure and Operations experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing IT operations within Data Centers, Colocation Facilities, Cloud Infrastructure, Telecom Networks, or Mission-Critical Environments.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and security platforms.
• Strong exposure to 24x7 operations, incident management, and service delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain Data Center IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and monitoring systems.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of mission-critical IT systems.
• Lead capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle management, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software assets.

IT Operations & Service Delivery

• Ensure 24x7 operational support for Data Center IT infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain ITIL-based service management processes.
• Lead incident, problem, change, and service request management activities.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring incidents.
• Ensure compliance with defined SLAs, OLAs, and customer commitments.

Network & Security Operations

• Manage enterprise and Data Center network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Load Balancers.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
• Oversee vulnerability management, patch management, and security compliance activities.
• Support implementation of ISO 27001, SOC, and cybersecurity governance frameworks.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for IT operational issues at the site level.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders for service delivery excellence.
• Support audits, customer inspections, compliance reviews, and operational assessments.
• Present operational performance reports and dashboards to leadership teams.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor IT Operations, Network, and Infrastructure teams.
• Drive training, skill development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
