Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager for an on-site STATCOM project in India. You will lead construction activities across civil, electrical, mechanical, and control teams, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will monitor progress, coordinate with clients and vendors, manage resources, and support testing, commissioning, and handover while maintaining thorough site documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 15–18 years of site construction experience.
• BE/B.Tech in Civil or Electrical, Diploma with extensive experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities for the STATCOM project.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, control & protection, and commissioning teams to achieve milestones.
• Ensure execution follows approved drawings, specs, schedules and contracts.
• Monitor site progress, resources and productivity to meet objectives.
• Supervise contractors and site personnel with quality and HSE compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, client, vendors and authorities on site.
• Ensure availability of manpower, materials, equipment and tools.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities; close punch points.
• Maintain as-built records and handover dossiers; resolve site issues.
• Conduct daily site reviews and mitigate schedule risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and permits.

• Ensure execution is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, projectschedules, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor site progress, resource utilization, and productivity to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel, ensuring compliance with quality and HSErequirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, client, vendors, and local authorities on all site-related matters.
• Ensure timely availability of manpower, materials, construction equipment, and tools.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities by ensuring construction completion andclosure of punch points.
• Maintain as-built records, site documentation, inspection reports, and handover dossiers for final projectcompletionResolve site execution issues and coordinate engineering support for technical clarifications and design.changes.
• Conduct daily site review meetings and monitor critical activities to mitigate schedule risks..
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, permit requirements, and environmental guidelines.
• Review and approve daily work plans, progress reports, and site documentation.

• Experience: 15 to 18 Years
• Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Civil/Electrical), Diploma minimum 15 Year Experience.
