Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Ranchi seeks a senior Site In-Charge for Solar Operation & Maintenance. You will oversee daily electrical equipment operations, manage vendor/subcontractor activities, and ensure reports and budgets are maintained.

The role requires 7–10 years of solar O&M experience, strong maintenance planning, testing/commissioning knowledge, and proficiency in MS Excel. You will lead a team of 15+ engineers and technicians and ensure compliance with EHS and O&M contract terms.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Solar Operation & Maintenance
• Experience handling single plant capacity of 50 MW solar power plant
• Experience in electrical equipment testing/commissioning preferable
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment operation & maintenance philosophy

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of electrical equipment functions.
• Prepare and maintain reports per site requirements.
• Manage subcontractors.
• Train subordinates for development as per site.
• Store/spares management.
• Schedule and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
• Attend breakdown maintenance with minimal downtime.
• Annual testing of electrical equipment.
• Report to Project Manager (maintenance, RCA).
• Ensure EHS requirements and O&M contract adherence.
• Lead a site team of 15+ engineers/technicians.
• Understand O&M contract TC and budget management.

Experience : Min. 7 years to 10 years exp in Solar Operation & Maintenance, (at least should have handled single plant capacity of 50 MW solar power plant, experience in electrical equipment testing and commissioning is preferable)

Roles & Responsibiilty

• Daily monitoring the functions of all electrical equipment's.
• All reports to be maintain as per site requirement.
• Subcontractor Management.
• Regular trainings to subordinates for their development as per site
• Store/Spares Management.
• Schedule and execute the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
• Attending of Breakdown maintenance at minimal duration.
• Annual testing of Electrical Equipment
• Reporting to Project Manager.- DGR, Maintenance Report, Breakdown/ RCA report
• Quality Management System Implementation.
• Adherence to EHS Requirements
• Adherence to O&M manual requirements
• Maintaining equipment warranty/ guarantee.
• Ensuring Contractual KPI - Generation, PR
• Stake holder management

• Candidate will work as Site In-charge.
