LT-Larsen & Toubro invites applications for the role of Asst. Manager / Sr. Engineer Operation & Maintenance (Solar) / Site In charge / Site Engineer.

The candidate will oversee daily functions and ensure safety, quality, and timely reporting on a 50 MW solar plant. The position requires 7–10 years of solar O&M experience, a Diploma or BE in Electrical Engineering, and strong team leadership to manage a 15+ member site team, with subcontractor coordination and maintenance planning

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE (EEE) in Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of Solar O&M experience with a 50 MW plant.
• Experience in electrical testing and commissioning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring the functions of all electrical equipment.
• Maintain reports as per site requirement.
• Subcontractor management.
• Conduct trainings for subordinates as per site needs.
• Store and spares management.
• Schedule and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
• Attend to breakdown maintenance promptly.
• Annual testing of electrical equipment.
• Prepare maintenance and breakdown reports for the Project Manager.
• Ensure Quality Management System implementation and EHS compliance.
• Adhere to O&M manuals and contractual KPI such as generation and PR.
• Manage site budget and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.

Experience

Min. 7 years to 10 years exp in Solar Operation & Maintenance, (at least should have handled single plant capacity of 50 MW solar power plant, experience in electrical equipment testing and commissioning is preferable)

Roles & Responsibility

• Daily monitoring the functions of all electrical equipment’s.
• All reports to be maintain as per site requirement.
• Subcontractor Management.
• Regular trainings to subordinates for their development as per site
• Store/Spares Management.
• Schedule and execute the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
• Attending of Breakdown maintenance at minimal duration.
• Annual testing of Electrical Equipment
• Reporting to Project Manager.- DGR, Maintenance Report, Breakdown/ RCA report
• Quality Management System Implementation.
• Adherence to EHS Requirements
• Adherence to O&M manual requirements
• Maintaining equipment warranty/ guarantee.
• Ensuring Contractual KPI – Generation, PR
• Stake holder management

• Candidate will work as Site In-charge.
• Should lead a team of minimum 15 plus team members (Engineers, Technician)
• Strong knowledge of Electrical equipment – operation & maintenance philosophy
• Experience in Electrical Testing & Commissioning preferred
• Strong in Maintenance planning of SOLAR plant
• Soft skills : Should be good in MS- Excel, word, ppt ;
• Communication : transparent & clear (verbal); Basic email communications
• Able to manage site budget
