Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Site Incharge for Solar O&M to oversee daily operations of a large solar plant. You will monitor electrical equipment, manage maintenance schedules, and coordinate subcontractors to ensure optimal performance and safety.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in solar OPS/maintenance, with exposure to testing and commissioning and a proven ability to lead a 15+ member team on site. Strong MS Office skills and clear communication are required.

Qualifications

• Experience: min 7–10 years in Solar Operation & Maintenance.
• Single plant experience of 50 MW solar power plant preferred.
• Electrical testing and commissioning exposure desirable.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of all electrical equipment functions.
• Prepare and maintain reports per site requirements.
• Subcontractor management and coordination.
• Provide regular trainings to field staff.
• Store and spares management, inventory control.
• Schedule and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
• Attend breakdown maintenance with minimal downtime.
• Annual testing of electrical equipment and KPI adherence.
• Report to Project Manager with maintenance and RCA notes.
• Ensure EHS and O&M manual adherence and warranty tracking.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, internal teams; lead 15+ staff.
