Job summary

Concord Technologies in Mumbai is seeking a site in-charge to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and successful handover of building management systems on-site. He will act as the primary contact for the end customer and consultant, leading a team of technicians and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include site execution, supervision, coordinating with subcontractors, controlling material and resources, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining installation logs and progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in site management for BMS or Process Automation.
• Clear verbal and written communication with contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision: Oversee day-to-day on-site installation and testing activities for DCOS implementation.
• Team & Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site engineers; assign daily tasks.
• Material & Resource Control: Track inventory and ensure material availability; coordinate with procurement.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce quality control standards and ensure safety regulations on site.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain logs, as-built drawings, checklists; generate progress reports.

Job Description

We are seeking a site inchargeto oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and successfulhandover of building management systems on-site. He will act as the primarypoint of contact (at site) for the end customer and consultant, leading a teamof technicians and subcontractors. He has to ensure that the complete DCOSintegration is done seamlessly, safely, on time, and as per projectspecifications.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Site Execution &Supervision:Oversee day-to-day on-site installation and testingactivities for DCOS implementation, ensuring work aligns with approvedengineering drawings and schematics.
  

Supervise the installation of BMScontrollers, field devices (sensors, actuators, valves), and network cabling.Lead the functional testing and pre-commissioning of tests.

• Team & SubcontractorManagement:Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site engineers.Allocate daily tasks and monitor workforce productivity.
  
• Material & ResourceControl:Track inventory of PLC panels, cables and field instrumentsand ensure the measurement reports are signed regularly. Coordinate withprocurement team if additional material is required. Local materialprocurement if required.
  
• Quality & SafetyCompliance:Enforce strict quality control standards for sensor,panel, cable tray and cable installation. Work along with Concord sitesafety office to get the necessary work permits and ensure all safetyregulations are followed by the team
  
• Documentation &Reporting:Maintain precise site logs, as-built drawings, andinstallation checklists. Generate daily and weekly progress reports forProject Managers and clients. Attend daily onsite installation meetings at8:30 in the morning.
  

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Instrumentation &Control, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in site management forBMS or Process Automation.

Soft Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills toeffectively interface with main contractors, MEP consultants, and clients.
