Job summary

ACI Automation Pvt. Ltd is seeking a competent Project Engineer to drive project execution and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will lead PLC, HMI, and SCADA development, review control philosophies, and support site commissioning and customer interactions.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with automation systems, ability to mentor junior engineers, and effective communication with customers and internal teams. onsite deployment and FAT/SAT validation are expected.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation or E&C engineering.
• Strong hands-on PLC, HMI and SCADA experience.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead a project team.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• Plan and execute projects to committed schedules
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, production, purchase, stores, software and site teams
• Track milestones and risks, and resolve execution issues early
• Support project closure, handover and customer acceptance

PLC, HMI & SCADA Development

• Guide the team in configuring, developing and modifying PLC / HMI / SCADA programs to company standards and best practices
• Test, debug, validate and optimise automation systems
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites

Design & Technical Review

• Review control philosophy and customer specifications
• Verify electrical drawings, panel layouts, IO lists and BOMs
• Support project engineers in system design and implementation

Installation & Commissioning

• Plan installation and commissioning activities with customers
• Support site teams through startup and stabilisation
• Ensure successful FAT, SAT and performance validation
• Handle critical site troubleshooting when needed

Customer Interaction

• Join technical discussions and clarify customer requirements
• Provide technical solutions and respond quickly to customer concerns
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain complete project documentation and review test and commissioning reports
• Submit periodic project status reports to management
• Record lessons learned and technical improvements

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Electronics & Communication Engineering
• 56 years in industrial automation, weighing systems, process control, electrical panels or material handling
• Strong hands-on PLC, HMI and SCADA experience
• Experience in site commissioning, FAT and SAT
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead a project team
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
