Job summary

Sanvi Business Solutions is seeking a Site Engineer for residential projects in Chennai (Nungambakkam). The role requires 3 years of experience and a Civil Engineering qualification.

Immediate joiners are preferred, with a salary of ₹25,000 gross per month and on-site work in Chennai. Responsibilities include site execution, daily supervision, quality records, material planning, vendor and labour coordination, and routine documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential and small commercial construction projects.
• Experience with a Civil Contractor or Architect’s office is preferred.
• Candidates with only Infrastructure/Industrial project experience will not be considered.
• Must own a two-wheeler for site visits.
• Knowledge of quantity take-off from AutoCAD drawings and basic labour bill rates.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Resume must include complete project details (project type, name, size, role, etc.).
• Stable employment history with no frequent job changes.
• Added advantage: Experience in interior finishing works (tiling, flooring, painting, marble) and/or architect’s office experience.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution: Execute work as per Project Head’s instructions.
• Planning & Coordination: Coordinate schedules with vendors and subcontractors through written communication and follow-ups.
• Material Management: Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower.
• Vendor & Labour Management: Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and labour; verify contractor/supplier bills.
• General Responsibilities: Be goal-oriented, complete work within timelines and maintain quality.

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners

Shift Timings: Morning 8:30 AM — 6:30 PM; Flexible for night shift when required

   • Ensure testing, curing, quality records, and documentation.
   • Prepare and maintain Checklists with Consultant / Client approvals.
2. Planning & Coordination
   • Coordinate schedules with vendors and subcontractors through proper written communication and follow-ups.
3. Material Management
   • Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower.
   • Raise and track material indents to maintain project progress.
4. Vendor & Labour Management
   • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and labour.
   • Ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and safety standards.
   • Verify and approve contractor/supplier bills.
5. General Responsibilities
   • Be goal-oriented and complete assigned work within timelines.
   • Take ownership, accountability, and maintain quality in execution.
