Shaaspace India is hiring a Civil Engineer in Chennai with 3-7+ years of experience in residential and commercial construction. The role focuses on site execution, quality control, measurements, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Responsibilities include planning and supervising civil works, monitoring RCC and finishing tasks, maintaining documentation, and assisting with BOQs and billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering with relevant site experience.
• Experience in residential and commercial construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of drawings, quantity measurement, and construction materials.

We are hiring a skilled Civil Engineer with 3-7+ years of experience in residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of construction, site execution, quality control, measurements, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute civil construction works as per drawings and project schedules.
• Monitor RCC, block work, plastering, flooring, painting, and finishing works.
• Check site measurements, quantities, materials, and workmanship.
• Coordinate with architects, site engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and labour teams.
• Ensure proper quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
• Manage manpower, materials, and day-to-day site activities.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Assist with measurements, BOQs, billing, and quantity verification.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.E. Civil Engineering / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 37+ years in civil construction and site execution.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, drawings, measurements, and materials.
• Tamil-speaking candidates preferred
• Ability to manage labour, subcontractors, and site activities.
• Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is mandatory.
• Willing to work at different site locations across Chennai.

• Salary: 20,000 35,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.
