Job summary

Imperial Holiday Homes seeks a Site Civil Engineer to join our project team in Nainital, Uttarakhand. This permanent, on-site role requires 1–5 years of civil engineering experience and a Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.

You will support site execution, quality control, material management, and coordination with contractors and senior engineers. The position offers hands-on learning in RCC, masonry, waterproofing, finishing works, and daily DPR documentation, with food and accommodation

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 15 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site execution.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and measurements.
• Basic knowledge of RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring and finishing works.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.
• Coordinate with contractors, labour teams, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in planning and allocating daily work to labour teams.
• Check the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Take site measurements and assist with quantity calculations and material requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), site records, measurements, and documentation.
• Assist with material planning, inventory, and consumption tracking.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and senior engineers regarding site requirements.
• Identify and report site-level issues, discrepancies, and execution challenges.
• Ensure proper safety practices and site discipline.
• Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to senior project members.
• Assist in resolving day-to-day construction and execution-related issues.
