The role focuses on safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and specifications, with coordination across contractors, labor teams, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will ensure on-time completion, efficient material use, and comprehensive site documentation while maintaining strong communication with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering required.
• Freshers or candidates with 1–5 years of site execution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain daily site progress reports and quality inspections.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals.

Position: Site Engineer

Location: Manamadurai (Food & Accomodation will be provided)

Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing civil construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

• Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of work.
• Resolve day-to-day site execution issues.

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare daily and weekly work plans.
• Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, and Logistics teams for timely material availability.
• Schedule manpower, equipment, and resources efficiently.
• Attend project coordination meetings and provide updates.

Quality Control

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Inspect ongoing work and identify defects.
• Verify dimensions, levels, and alignment before execution.
• Ensure proper documentation of quality inspections.

Safety Compliance

• Enforce company safety policies and site safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by workers.
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.

Material Management

• Verify material quantities received at site.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Maintain records of material usage and stock.

Documentation

• Maintain daily site progress reports.
• Prepare measurement sheets and work completion records.
• Maintain site registers, inspection reports, and checklists.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals.

Client & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Support inspections and site visits.
• Communicate project updates to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Freshers or candidates with 15 years of site execution experience are preferred.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of civil construction methods and practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
