Job Summary

The Site Engineer with MEP Specialization is responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of water infrastructure projects. This includes water treatment plants, pipelines, reservoirs, and other related facilities. The role involves project planning, quality assurance, safety compliance, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee construction activities to ensure they align with project plans and specifications. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure construction meets industry standards. Conduct inspections and tests to verify compliance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure construction sites comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety meetings and audits to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Team Coordination: Work with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure effective collaboration. Assign tasks and monitor progress.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, construction logs, and safety records. Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues, including technical problems, delays, and safety hazards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and water quality standards.
  • Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and monitoring. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in construction or water infrastructure projects, Experience into MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certification is preferred.
