Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• Execute WTP, STP, ETP, RO, UF, and wastewater recycling projects.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
• Monitor project schedules, progress, and site activities.
• Ensure project completion within timelines and budget.

Engineering & Technical Support

• Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Support equipment selection, sizing, and process implementation.
• Resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Site Supervision

• Supervise erection, installation, piping, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors at site.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship quality.
• Ensure availability of materials, manpower, and tools.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain project documentation, checklists, and commissioning records.
• Prepare BOQ verification, material reconciliation, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate approvals and submissions with clients/consultants.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
• Conduct safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
• Follow HSE regulations and company safety policies.

Client & Vendor Management

• Attend project review meetings with clients and consultants.
• Coordinate procurement and vendor follow-up for timely deliveries.
• Handle client communication and project updates professionally.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of WTP/STP/ETP systems and treatment processes.
• Understanding of pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers, dosing systems, and piping.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and engineering layouts.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project/Primavera.
• Strong project coordination and troubleshooting skills.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors Degree in:
  • Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 2–8 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Experience in EPC/project execution preferred.
