Execution Engineer

Job summary

The Indian Hume Pipe Co Ltd is seeking an Engineer for execution on civil construction sites in Ner/Satara. You will supervise day-to-day activities, ensure compliance with drawings and specs, and coordinate with multiple teams to maintain project schedule and budget.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant site experience and exposure to water supply, irrigation, or sewage projects. Local travel to project sites in Maharashtra may be involved.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 1–3 years of site execution experience.
• Must have water supply/irrigation/sewage project exposure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
• Ensure execution of works as per drawings, technical specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Monitor progress of earthwork, RCC, structural works, pipeline works, road works and other infrastructure activities as applicable.
• Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of various construction activities.
• Resolve day-to-day site execution issues in coordination with the Project Manager and technical team.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly work plans in coordination with the planning team.
• Monitor actual progress against the approved project schedule.
• Identify delays, constraints and bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and construction resources.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and agencies for timely completion of assigned works.
• Plan and monitor manpower requirements for various work fronts.
• Ensure timely availability of construction materials at site.
• Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for material requirements.
• Monitor deployment and productivity of construction equipment and machinery.
• Minimize material wastage and improve resource utilization.
• Maintain records of manpower, machinery, materials and work progress.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Manager.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Planning, QA/QC, Safety, Survey, Stores, Procurement and Billing teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, client representatives and other stakeholders at site.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on execution progress and technical issues.
• Ensure timely implementation of instructions issued by the client/consultant.
