Job summary

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Bengaluru seeks a Site Engineer with BE/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or ITI and at least 2 years of field experience. You will oversee daily progress, allocate work and material per plan, and maintain daily reports via a mobile app.

The role emphasizes weekly 5M plan execution, zero-defect quality, safety compliance, and coordination with procurement for invoicing and payments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily planned work progress by ensuring timely site entry and work allocation as per plan/procedure
• Prepare and update daily progress reports in the app and submit daily reports
• Develop and maintain 5M short-term plans and update the 5M sheet weekly
• Supervise daily work progress, complete quality audit checklists, and obtain customer approvals for weekly reports
• Support certification and payment collection processes and ensure adherence to safety protocols with daily walk-throughs

Role & responsibilities :

Designation: Site Engineer

JD:

1. Achieving daily planned work progress:-

• Entering the site on time.
• Allot the work & material for all the crews as per plan & procedure,
• Receipt of new crews & materials as per procedure.
• Update the progress of the day in software through App/Prepare and submit the daily report

2. Achieving 5M requirement of short term plan implementation(weekly):-

• Prepare the 5M sheet
• Update the 5M sheet

3. Achieving Zero snag work quality:-

• Supervise the allotted work progress of day through daily walkthrough
• Fill the quality audit check list along with WIR daily ( this shall be audited by QC)
• Get the approval of WIR of completed reports from customer & submit to Procurement Engineer on time.
• Fill up DC, MIR, Rejection report & get customer authorization for the day.

4. Achieving Invoice citification & Payment collection:-

• Submit, Follow up provide explanation, ensure certification as per Schedule.
• Collect the Payment as per plan.

5. Achieving zero default on safety implementation:-

• Daily walk through & ensure EHS- PPE & all the safety process following.
• Update the daily safety
• Store Audit & fill up the self audit report as per procedure
